Here’s a Thought…

As global warming becomes ever more present in our immediate thoughts, and the situation that our immense desire for the consumption of beef has resulted in the proliferation of cows releasing methane into the atmosphere. Effectively creating the greenhouse effect, we are literally cooking ourselves to doom. So what are the solutions? They say eating insects is an incredibly effective option for our source of protein, but neither you nor I can really imagine eating insects as part of our daily diet right?

So what if we put insects into the burgers of fast food joints and a mixture of beef AND insects? People have already come up with ways to process the insects so that they’re beyond recognition, so why not put them as mixtures into the beef patty? Reducing beef consumption while still retaining protein content is an interesting compromise to a problem that’s staring at us in the face.

I’d be down to eat that. Wouldn’t you?
